Transparence 21.0 invites participants to reimagine the workplace as more than a place of employment, envisioning it as a vibrant urban ecosystem that fosters innovation, collaboration, wellbeing, learning, and community. The challenge focuses on emerging Tier-2 and Tier-3 Indian cities, where workplaces can become catalysts for economic growth and more sustainable urban development.
Participants are required to select a site within an existing or proposed IT Park, SEZ, Business Park, Commercial Zone, or Innovation District and develop a larger master plan, with one workplace building developed in detail. The proposal should demonstrate how light, sustainable, and durable construction systems can enhance building performance, user comfort, resource efficiency, resilience, and circularity.
The detailed building may be a corporate headquarters, multi-tenant office, R&D centre, innovation hub, business centre, co-working facility, incubation centre, knowledge campus, or another future workplace typology.
The challenge: Design a workplace that strengthens people, communities, and the cities of tomorrow.
